Kendall B. Bullock

Co-Founder and President

Kendall Bullock is a co-founder of KidsAlfresco™ and serves as the organization’s president. A life-long champion of the environment and an active, outdoor enthusiast, Kendall considers herself one of Mother Earth’s biggest fans. Rain or shine, Kendall is happiest and does her best thinking when she is outside. She believes kids and young adults that pursue an active, responsible and inquisitive life outdoors, pave a path to personal health and a lifetime of positive environmental interactions. Kendall’s intense love for nature and devotion to everything she deeply believes, has fundamentally altered the way she looks at planet earth and prepared her for a lifetime of meaningful environmental engagement. She maintains that it’s time to collectively acknowledge and respond to the human cause and effect of the widespread environmental imbalance.  Her profound conviction for earth’s well-being has provided a true purpose to be here on this planet, at this moment and time.

Kendall’s primary responsibilities include communications, public relations and outdoor engagement. One of her core functions is identifying what she calls “change” opportunities in communities. She determines what resources will be required and collaborates with other like-minded organizations and deploys a growing number of youth volunteers to fulfill the mission. Kendall will host Faces of Change, a web-based show highlighting individuals and organizations that are making a difference. Faces of Change is scheduled to debut in the Spring of 2024. She is also a founding member of EarthPosse™, a member-based organization of KidsAlfresco that serves as a collective of youth at the ready when duty calls.

Kendall is a Sophomore at University of Florida majoring in Sustainability Studies. She is a member of Kappa Delta and played Club Lacrosse for the Gators her freshman year. A personal philosophy that Kendall lives by also serves as the mission statement for KidsAlfresco: Step Outside and Change the World. Kendall describes the mission statement as “six powerful words that keep us focused on our goals. KidsAlfresco is a real-life story of challenge and change starring children and young adults everywhere just like me.”

Kendall is the recipient of many awards and accolades for her commitment to community, the environment and academics. At a very young age, Kendall recognized the planet was in trouble and needed her help. While keeping her community clean and litter-free was a good place to start, she soon realized that land, air and water pollution and environmental recklessness was a global crisis that extend far beyond her own neighborhood. That was the day KidsAlfresco was established.

“Today’s impactful and disruptive organizations are not concerned with age, experience or traditional methods of getting things done; rather it’s their optimism, energy, unbridled creativity and unwavering belief that their actions can shape outcomes in new and meaningful ways.

Mason says “I’ve learned over the years that you’re never too young and it’s never too late to start something and get involved; you simply have to decide to do it and jump in - just make sure you’re slightly taller than your pitch fork!”

Everyone experiences life - altering moments; those profound personal turning points that become so indelibly engraved upon their human psyche never to be erased. Well, for Jim, one such event was his trip to Ecuador and his experiences in the Amazonian rain forest and Galapagos Islands. During his trek, Jim spent time with the Cofans, the oldest surviving indigenous cultures of the Amazonian rain forest and explored the Galapagos, a small archipelago of islands belonging to Ecuador with its unique wildlife that served as the foundation for Charles Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection. “My experience in the Amazonian rain forest and the Galapagos Islands helped me to contextualize my personal responsibilities and recognize opportunities within the world. As a proud father and someone who has been fortunate enough to travel to some very special places, I have witnessed first-hand the miracle of human life entering this world and how wondrously this world can advance given the right conditions”.
